Kanye, Drake, And Justin Bieber Plan to Miss This Year's Grammy Awards

Kanye West, Drake and Justin Bieber are among the artists who are reportedly planning to skip this year’s Grammy Awards. TMZ reports that Drake, who was nominated for eight awards this year, will miss the ceremony because he will be on tour. Kanye, who also racked up eight nods this year, plans to snub the ceremony because he’s always lost when going head-to-head against a white singer. He’s also previously threatened to boycott the ceremony if Frank Ocean wasn’t nominated, and ironically, Ocean withheld his two albums from Grammy consideration this year. It’s unclear why Bieber, who has four nominations this year, won’t make the ceremony--but he reportedly plans to be somewhere else. The 59th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be air on February 12, 2017.
