Soulja Boy was charged on Monday with possessing an assault weapon and receiving stolen property following a December police raid at his Hollywood home. According to the Associated Press, the rapper was still on probation for a previous firearms case at the time of the raid and was not supposed to possess any weapons. However, both a Mini Draco AR-IS assault weapon and a Glock 21 handgun were found inside his home. Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, pleaded not guilty to two felony weapons possession charges and a misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
