If you feel scattered, overwhelmed, or unfocused — do this:
Look at three things in the room and name them out loud.
Pulls your brain out of stress mode and into the present.
Take two slow breaths — four seconds in, six seconds out.
This instantly lowers cortisol.
Do one tiny action you’ve been avoiding — reply to a text, delete an email, put something away.
This gives your brain a “win” and flips you into momentum.
