Avicii Found Dead

Not the kind of news you want to kick off your weekend, especially if you're an Avicii fan.. He was found dead on today at the YOUNG age of 28. "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his rep wrote in a statement. "He was found dead in Muscat, Oman, this Friday afternoon local time, April 20. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given." Rolling Stone adds that a cause of death has yet to be determined. Avicii released the studio albums True in 2013 and Stories in 2015; he is perhaps best known for his 2011 crossover hit "Levels." He also worked with several top pop stars, including Madonna, Coldplay and even Zac Brown. In May 2016, Avicii announced on his website that he was retiring from touring. "I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist," he wrote. "I've become an adult while growing as an artist. I've come to know myself better and realize that there's so much I want to do with my life. I have strong interests in different areas, but there's so little time to explore them." Very, VERY sad deal. 28 is way too young.. Never take a single day for granted my friends! R.I.P.
