Today in Mexico, environmental officials announced that someone just tried to mail a live tiger cub to its new owner. The the cub was sedated, placed in a plastic container and sent from Jalisco to Queretaro. A sniffer dog discovered the cub, which was dehydrated but in otherwise good condition. Despite the fact that its papers were in order, the cub was was seized by the government due to its illegal shipment, and a criminal investigation has been launched. Poor kitty :(
