Alt Rock singer Jack White has announced that all cell phones will be BANNED on his upcoming tour. He said "We think you'll enjoy looking up from your gadgets for a little while and experience music and our shared love of it IN PERSON". I can't argue that! Ever look around at a show and see how many people are watching it through their devices? It's crazy!! And also, when do you EVER watch the videos you shoot? Never.. fans at his shows will be given "Yondr pouches" to out their phones until the show's over. Fans who need their phones during a performance can unlock their pouches in designated Yondr Phone Zones located in lobbies and concourses. An official tour photographer will capture footage of the concerts so fans still have something to post on their social media accounts. Jack also said, "Repost our photos and videos as much as you want and enjoy a phone-free, 100% human experience." I for one, really like the idea!
