Monica from 'Cheer' Gives Sisanie Advice on When to Start Her Kids in Cheer

Sisanie has been thinking about starting her daughter Aiza, almost 2, in cheer after getting inspired by Netflix's latest binge-worthy docuseries Cheer.

Navarro College Cheer Coach Monica Aldama from the show, phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, February 18 and had some advice for her.

"I think really it just depends on the child because what you don't want to do is you don't want them to get burned out by the time they get too high school and that want to actually go to the college level," she says.

"All Star cheerleading that you would want to get your daughter into it's really a year-round commitment," Monica explains. "As you can kind of see from the show you can't do anything without all of the team participating. So the expectation of what you're going to have to push through whether you're sick, whether you're...you have to limit your family vacations. It's a full-time commitment."

"You'll know if they're enjoying it and if they want to do it. You just don't ever want to force it," she adds.

And Sisanie is not the only one who is obsessed with Cheer, it has literally taken over the world and is on everyone's watchlist.

"We didn't know when we were filming it that it would be so big," Monica admits. "I think just the fact that you got these people, that normal people think that they should be perfect or they have these perfect lives, but you really get to see the inside of it and you see that they don't."

"They're just normal people like everyone else with real problems," she continues. "Overcoming tragedies and overcoming hardships and being able to get to this level and have this common goal and be successful. I think that's what resonates with people."

Now the big question is will there be a season 2?
