Greeley's Friday Fest Has Been Postponed

The Downtown Greeley Promotional Association has made the unfortunate decision to postpone downtown Greeley's weekly summer event Friday Fest. Alison Hamling, Chairperson of The Downtown Greeley Promotional Association has made the following statement.

“The postponement of The Greeley Stampede, The Greeley Blues Jam and any other great events that bring tourism to our city and contribute to our sense of place and pride, is something that affects us all. I don’t think this announcement will really surprise anyone. Obviously, we will defer to the guidelines set forth from the Weld County Health Department, the state, and local governing authorities regarding outdoor events and crowd size. Once those are made clear closer to the summer season it will help us determine our course of action. We have the advantage of using all local talent rather than national acts who travel and book tours far in advance, so we can be a little more flexible than the larger festivals regarding our decision timeline. The safety of our guests, our community, and avoiding a second wave of COVID-19 is absolutely our number one concern and will guide all decisions.”
