More Than Half of Millennials Say Their Parents Are Their BFFs

According to data released today by TD Ameritrade, more than half of American millennials name Mom and Dad as their best friends. In fact, a surprising number of millennials are cool with treating their parents as their roomies: The study found that 27 percent of 20-to-26-year-olds say they wouldn't be ashamed to shack up with their parents once they enter the 30-to-34-year-old age range, while 11 percent claim there's still no shame in living with your parents once you've over the age of 35. Teenagers, meanwhile, are much more likely to disapprove of the idea of having your parents as your adult roomies--but then again, what don't teenagers find embarrassing?
