A viral TikTok shows how user Nivine Jay ruined her chance of getting a first date with Ben Affleck cause she thought he was a catfish.
She starts off the post saying "Thinking of the time I matched with Ben Affleck on the exclusive dating app Raya and thought it was fake so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on Instagram" then shares the video Ben DMed her.
The way he said "It's me." took me out. What I don't get is why is she acting like this was where the meet cute ends? Instead of shooting her shot back, Nivine played herself posting this video (seemingly for clout) cause Ben is A list and needs to know potential hookups can be discrete. The man loves his privacy.
Nivine told E! News she didn't want people thinking "he's a creep."
"l wasn't making fun of him in the video," she said. "l was making fun of myself for thinking he was a catfish and it was just supposed to be funny."
No word on when this missed moment happened so we're keeping our attention on Ben and ex-fianceé J.Lo hanging out like it's 2003.
