Jhené Aiko shared devastating footage of what used to be her dream home after it burned down in the Los Angeles fires.

The accomplished singer recently returned to her property in Pacific Palisades to assess the damages to her cottage. In a video she posted on Sunday, January 12, you can see a charred vehicle in the driveway before she pans over to reveal the burnt remains of her home. The only pieces that survived were the bricks on both sides of the house.

"My cozy cottage dream," she wrote in her caption with a sad eyes emoji. "That brick stood its ground tho."

Jhené Aiko bought the 4,692-square-foot, two-story cottage in 2023 for just over $5.6 million. It's the second home she's lived in that burned down. When she first informed fans about her situation, the singer reminded them how she lost her childhood home in a fire when she was seven and said she would have to start from scratch. Some trolls online tried to say she could easily buy another dream home, but Jhene instantly shut down that chatter.

"The fact that some of you think I have Paris Hilton money is wild," she began. "I don't got it like that, but I do have a big, loving family that is worth more than anything."

Aiko is one of several celebrities who have lost their homes in the fires this week. Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles recently mourned the loss of her bungalow in Malibu. Other celebrities like Mandy Moore and Paris Hilton also shared horrific images after their homes were reduced to ashes.
