A summer tradition which would normally kick off this Saturday will be missing for thousands of Colorado families and many traveling into our beautiful state to see the wonder that is America's BIGGEST Water Park, Water World. The Park announced today that they will not be opening for the 2020 season do to the ongoing COVID19 Pandemic. While originally thought their opening would only be delayed, after digging deeper, it has been decided that an aquatic park of it's size would not likely be cleared to open in their short operating season. Being a homegrown Colorado boy I have many, MANY fond memories of Water World and so this really bums me out. Just another reason to hit the fast forward button to 2021.. Stay safe my fellow Water World lovers.
