Now that marijuana is legal in a bunch of states, the AP reports that "an upscale chain of dispensaries" called MedMen has launched a $2 million billboard campaign attacking the use of the word "stoner" to describe pot smokers. MedMen's billboards feature everyday people like nurses, grandmothers and teachers, with a slash line through the word "stoner" and the website forgetstoner.com advertised. Adding to MedMen's mainstream image is the fact that former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa just joined the California-based company's board.
