The “One Fast Cat” is based on the concept of a hamster wheel and works in exactly the same way; the cat hops on and as it starts walking, the wheel spins.

About half of U.S. domestic cats live indoors and studies suggest that they can develop behavioral issues because they get bored and aren’t active enough.

The device is on sale for $199, but the price will go up once the Kickstarter campaign is over.

So far, the One Fast Cat campaign has raised almost ten times their goal of $10,000 with almost $100,000 in pledges and they’re set to ship in September.
