A sheriff in Michigan changed the jail’s uniforms to black and white because “Orange Is The New Black” has made prison clothes cool.

The Saginaw County Sheriff believes that standard all-orange jumpsuits have become seen as fashionable because of pop culture.

So he now makes the inmates at the local jail wear convict era-style black and white stripes.

And he says many of the inmates don’t like the new prison clothes and his response is too bad, don’t come to jail.
