• Online Drinking Game Sweeps Social Media, Kills 5

  • An online drinking game called Neknominate, in which participants issue extreme drinking challenges to fellow Facebookers or YouTubers, has claimed the lives of five people under the age of 30 as it sweeps social media. The craze has seen players consume alcohol with goldfish, insects, engine oil and dog food, as each ensuing "nomination" becomes more dangerous and outlandish. "This is a lethal game," Dr. Sarah Jarvis, medical adviser for the UK-based charity Drinkaware, told CNN.
